That fully depends on time and effort you are willing to invest.

Different self-hosting options

• Your own hardware: use a not longer used laptop, or a raspberry pi
• Use a virtual (private) server that you ront from a hosting provider in the internet

In this first version of the blog, the VPS option will be explained. Most of the instructions are valid for the hardware option too.

And you will need multiple other things:

• Your site(s) need a Domain name with DNS management options
• You need Putty, an SSH-client available for linux, apple and windows computers.
• You need the Yunohost software
• And a password manager comes in handy
